Description:
King University is accepting applications for part-time/adjunct faculty to teach courses in the asynchronous online environment for its CSWE-accredited Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) Program. King University faculty members work collaboratively to provide high quality academic experiences for students in a supportive, Christ-centered environment. Courses may include the following topics:
• Generalist Practice,
• Family and Group Practice,
• Community and Organizations Practice,
• Social Work Foundations,
• Research and Evaluation,
• Human Behavior and the Social Environment (HBSE),
• Writing for Social Workers
• Social Welfare Policy
• Human Diversity
• Field Education Practicum
Courses are offered during the fall, spring, and summer semesters in five-week and/or 15-week modules.
Interested candidates must submit the following; • cover letter,
• Integrative Faith and Learning Statement, formatted in APA style (7th ed.), Times New Roman, 12-pt. font, double-spaced, with title and reference page included.

Minimum Qualifications:
Faculty who teach social work courses must possess a minimum of a Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) from a CSWE-accredited program and a minimum of two-years of post MSW social work practice experience. The exception to these qualifications is in teaching the Research course, for which an appropriate Master’s degree or above is required
Preferred Qualifications:
The PhD in Social Work is preferred, but not required. Computer literacy is essential. Experience with trauma-informed knowledge and practice is a plus.
